1. How much do Summer Superdraw tickets cost?

Raffle tickets cost £1 each.

2. How can I enter the Summer Superdraw?

If you received our Summer Superdraw mailing, you can enter by filling in the form and sending it with your ticket stubs and payment using the Freepost envelope provided. Alternative, you can enter online. Entries must be made by Monday 19th September 2022.

Selling tickets

1. Who can I sell raffle tickets to? Can I sell them door to door?

You can buy tickets for yourself or you can sell them to friends, family and people you work with, but it is illegal to sell them door to door.

2. Can your son/daughter sell them for you?

We would be delighted, as long as they are over 16 years of age. It is illegal to sell raffle tickets to children under the age of 16, and for people under 16 to sell raffle tickets.

3. What should I do with the tickets I can't sell?

Please don't return them to us. Only return the payment and stubs from the ones you have sold.

Returning tickets and payment

1. How do I pay you the money?

It's very simple. You will receive a Freepost envelope which you can use to return the ticket stubs to us (along with your payment). Please make sure that all of your ticket stubs are filled in correctly.

2. Who do I make the cheques payable to?

Please make cheques payable to 'Peace Hospice Care'. Please note, we do not accept postal orders.

3. What details do you need if I sell tickets to someone else?

If you sell tickets to someone else, please ask them to fill in their details on the back of each ticket (i.e. their name, address, email and phone number. They also need to tick the box to indicate that they are over 18).

4. I've lost my reply form. What should I do?

You can still submit your entry. Please include a covering note with your ticket stubs and payment which includes your name and address. If you are making a donation as well as purchasing tickets, please let us know how much is towards the sale of tickets and how much you are donating.

5. What address do I send them to?

Please return your tickets to: Fundraising team, Peace Hospice Care, Peace Drive, Watford, WD17 3PH.

When returning tickets, please remember to:

- Make sure all ticket stubs are filled in correctly.
- Make your cheque for the total amount payable to 'Peace Hospice Care'.
- Complete your reply form and enclose it with your cheque and ticket stubs in the Freepost envelope provided.

At least 16 years old.

Yes, you can enter our raffle online.

Winning the raffle

1. When will the draw happen?

Entries for the Summer Superdraw will close on Monday 19th September 2022 and the draw will take place on Monday 26th September 2022. On or after the day of the draw, we'll contact our lucky winners and announce the winning tickets online.

2. Why is there a gap of a week between the closing date and the draw date?

We need this time to collate all the tickets entries.

3. Where can I see a list of the winning tickets?

A list of the winning numbers will be published on our website after the draw. You can view them at www.peacehospicecare.org.uk/summersuperdraw.

If, like many of our raffle players, you wish to make an additional donation, simply send it to us when you return your tickets stubs with the payment you raised through your ticket sales. You can also donate online.

T&Cs

1. Your purchase of tickets is from Peace Hospice Care ('The Promoter'), solely in accordance with the terms under which the Charity from time to time promotes its raffles.

2. All proceeds from the Summer Superdraw will go to Peace Hospice Care. Registered office address: Peace Hospice Care, Peace Drive, Watford, Hertfordshire WD17 3PH. Registered Charity No: 1002878.

3. By participating in the Summer Superdraw, you agree that: a) You are 18 years of age or over; b) You are a resident of mainland Great Britain (this excludes Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands); c) You will not buy or sell tickets to, on behalf of, or for a person under the age of the age of 16 years; d) You will provide accurate entry information, including your name, personal address and telephone number and accept that it is your responsibility to keep us informed of any changes as soon as they arise.

4. You agree that you shall not be entitled to receive any prize if you are unable to substantiate to The Promoter your representations under articles a), b) and c) above.

5. Participation in the Summer Superdraw can be made by entering online or by returning ticket stubs in the post with appropriate payment (cheque made payable to 'Peace Hospice Care', credit/debit card or cash).

6. Give As You Earn accounts and Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) vouchers cannot be used as payment for Summer Superdraw tickets

7. The cost of each ticket entry into the Summer Superdraw is £1. You may purchase more than one ticket using one of the payment methods permitted.

8. Payment to enter the Summer Superdraw must be received by Monday 19th September 2022. Any ticket entries received after this date may miss entry into the draw and therefore will be considered as a donation to Peace Hospice Care.

9. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for raffle tickets which are lost, damaged, illegible or from which the prize winner cannot be identified, or for any technical failure or event which may cause the competition to be disrupted or corrupted.

10. The Summer Superdraw will take place on Monday 26th September 2022. Winning entries will be selected using a random number generator. Prizes are allocated as follows:

11. Please keep the ticket(s) as proof of purchase.

12. Prizes for the Summer Superdraw are advertised on the Peace Hospice Care website. There are no alternatives to any prize and no interest is payable. Cash prizes will be paid by cheque and all prizes will be posted to winners within 14 days. Entrants will be notified as to any change in the prize structure.

13. The winners will be notified individually by telephone or email.

14. The Promoter has the right to change or update the rules to reflect changes in legislation or at their discretion.

15. Where The Promoter is unable to contact a prize winner so that a prize remains unclaimed for six months following The Promoter's first attempt to notify the prize winner, The Promoter may apply the prize as it sees fit, including re-offering the prize in future Summer Superdraws.

16. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for the loss, theft or delayed receipt of any communication or any delays in bank or credit card payments.

17. Failure to comply with any of these rules may result in the disqualification of the entry. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry at their absolute discretion.

18. The Promoter's decision in all matters relating to the Summer Superdraw is final. Peace Hospice Care operates a complaints and disputes procedure which is available via the Peace Hospice Care website. All complaints and disputes will be handled in accordance with the procedure. If your complaint relates to the outcome of your gambling transaction and cannot be dealt with by Peace Hospice Care's complaints procedure to your satisfaction, you have the right, free of charge, to have the matter referred to the Independent Betting Adjudication Service - an independent organisation offering alternative dispute resolution ('ADR') services. Referral of the dispute to an ADR entity will not restrict your right to bring proceedings in respect of the dispute in a court of competent jurisdiction.

19. The Promoter is committed to operating the Summer Superdraw in a socially responsible way.
